We are thrilled to announce the return of WeBid Consult’s Rail Director – Natalie Boyes to our team after an incredible five years working on a high-profile, transformative rail project – the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU).

After supporting our client through a successful PQQ and ITT submission back in 2016, Natalie has been working post-contract as part of the Alliance Section Proposal team since early 2019.  Her extensive experience and dedication have been instrumental in the success of securing funding totaling over £3bn for the Project.

As well as managing one of the Sections, Natalie has helped to produce an extensive suite of documentation to support the OBC, PBC and FBC funding applications, including technical methodologies, Scope Variation Reports and GRIP Stage Estimates. She has also assisted in preparing the successful business case for the TRUST Centre in Huddersfield – a £2.7m purpose-built rail safety centre which is the first of its kind in the North of England.

Natalie integrated seamlessly into various multi-disciplinary teams within the Alliance and has become well-respected and trusted by her colleagues. This dedication has led to her winning a TRU Recognition Scheme award, an honour voted for by her peers.

As part of our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live and work, Natalie has also taken part in a number of Social Value initiatives during her time on TRU. This includes a successful presentation to the Y10/Y11 students at West Hill School in Stalybridge. The session was based around the role of a Bid Consultant and in particular, the importance of English in our profession and in everyday life.
