European International Contractors (EIC) developed its Collaborative Delivery Models Position Paper to help public authorities and infrastructure owners decide when collaborative delivery is appropriate and how to implement it. Drawing on international models and project case studies, the paper examines early contractor involvement, integrated teams, transparent cost management, fair risk allocation, shared incentives and collaborative governance.

WeBid helped coordinate technical input, practical experience and case-study evidence from multiple international contractors. We supported the drafting and editing process, brought together different organisational and project perspectives, and translated complex procurement, contractual and commercial concepts into clear guidance without losing their technical substance.

We also helped conceive and develop an illustrated, dialogue-based FAQ for the opening of the paper. The conversation between a client and an EIC representative anticipates common questions, explains the central concepts in plain language and directs readers to the relevant chapters. EIC published the completed paper in April 2026.
