ProCure22 Framework: Redevelopment of Whitby Hospital

Key Features

  • Live Healthcare environment
  • Complex stakeholder engagement
  • Close collaboration with client team
  • Extensive Health & Safety focus
  • Building on existing client relationships

This complex Healthcare project involved refurbishment of the Whitby Hospital Tower Block for Hambleton, Richmond and Whitby Clinical Commissioning Group (RHW CCG), part of a wider renovation project at the hospital. The existing Hospital site was too big and inefficient, in poor condition and costly to run, presenting an increasing strain on the local health economy. RHW CCG agreed to re-configure the site to better suit its needs for the future which involved consolidating the building into a four-storey tower block, ensuring the hospital would be fit-for-purpose for years to come.

WeBid's writers worked remotely with the client team, building on established long-term relationships to gather key information on their proposed solution to safely deliver the works within this live hospital environment. Our writers developed bespoke responses for the eight HLIP questions, showcasing evidence of where our client had successfully undertaken similar projects to fully support the tender submission. Close collaboration with the client team and subject matter experts throughout the tender period ensured our writers developed an exceptionally strong bid, aligned with the aims and objectives of multiple stakeholders, including the CCG, Whitby clinicians and patient representatives. As a result, our client was awarded the contract, adding to our impressive portfolio of winning bids for this client.
