Cambridgeshire County Council's T25 MATS scheme forms part of the March Area Transport Study Phase 2A. The project upgrades the A141 March Road and Twenty Foot Road junction to improve safety and reduce congestion. The works include relocating and widening the junction, new traffic signals and islands, a right-turn lane, resurfacing, road markings and signs.

WeBid supported our client with bid writing, workshop facilitation, subject matter expert interviews and graphics. We developed responses covering health and safety, traffic management, utility diversions, communications, methodology, environmental management, risk, embankment construction and Social Value. Our workshops brought together specialists in traffic management, utilities and wick-drain construction around the client's operational commitments.

The tender addressed extensive underground utilities, high-voltage overhead lines, peat and settlement risks, embankment stability, flood risk, potential contamination and tar in the pavement cores. The tender was successful, and the client praised the specificity and flexibility of our support.
